Born in Badajoz, Mar graduated from the city's conservatory, completing the professional grade of Pico Flute. During these years he acquired a solid choral training under the direction of Alonso Gomez Gallego, being a soloist in the Choir of the Conservatory of Badajoz and the Choir Amadeus of Puebla de la Calzada.
He began his vocal studies at the "Victoria de los Ángeles" Professional Conservatory of Music in Madrid and where he finished them by obtaining the End of Degree Prize and the Extraordinary Prize of Music of the Community of Madrid in the specialty of Singing, under the tutelage of his singing teacher Elena Muñoz Valdelomar. Later he continued in the Escuela Superior de Canto de Madrid with the teacher Victoria Manso.
Mar received a scholarship from Juventudes Musicales in 2015 to study abroad granted by the Queen Sofia and was also awarded a scholarship by the Association "Amigos de la Ópera de Madrid".
He has received master classes from David Mason, Alicia Amo, Alex Ashworth, Delia Agúndez, Teresa Loring, José Hernández Pastor, Sandra Medeiros, Armando Possante, Sylvia Schwartz, Stéphanie d'Oustrac, Anna Maria Ferrante, Boris Ignatov, Helen Tintes-Schuermann, Nicola Beller Carbone, Giulio Zappa, Charlotte Margiono, Dietrich Henschel y Plácido Domingo.
She has played different roles, among which the role of "The Queen of the Night" in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte, Olympia in Offenbach's Les Contes d'Hoffmann and the role of "Clarita" in Sorozábal's zarzuela La del Manojo de Rosas, performed on several occasions with the Badajoz Philharmonic Society and the Association A + Música, stand out. He has also participated in the VII Edition of the Young Opera of Jaen and as a soloist in several galas in the National Auditorium of Music in Madrid
He took part in the sixth edition of the workshop for young lyric singers "Incanto Tignano" given by the singer Nicola Beller Carbone and in the "31° Festival Tignano per l'ambiente e l'incontro tra i popoli" held in La Toscana, Florence.
We can highlight some recitals that he has offered in the city of Madrid such as those held in the Juan March Foundation or in the National Auditorium. In his homeland he collaborated for the Extremadura Institute of Singing and Choral Conducting of the Badajoz Provincial Council on several occasions. He was part of the posters for the International Music Festivals held in Gaia (Portugal) and Mendigorría (Navarra).
He has also given live recitals for Radio Clásica (RNE, "Sinfonía de la mañana"), opening the "Estudio 206" section. He has intervened as a soloist before H.M. Felipe VI in the X edition of the European Prize Carlos V. He has also participated as a soloist in the concert that the Choir Amadeus of Puebla de la Calzada offered at the Royal Monastery of Yuste in the commemoration of the "25th anniversary of the European Academy of Yuste Foundation".
During the 2016-2017, 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 seasons she has been a member of the Choir of the Teatro Real de Madrid as a Titular Soprano participating in several seasons.
It is at this stage that he performs a "partichino" in the opera "Idomeneo" by W.A. Mozart on the stage of the Royal Theatre (2019).
Recently, Mar Morán is part of a small group of singers as she has been selected for the "International Opera Academy" (IOA) of Ghent in Belgium to participate in the Opera Studio program during the years 2019 and 2021.
